Periodic Working Demonstrations
The Amana Colonies were built on tradition and quality by people who believed in hard work and excellent craftsmanship. The early settlers worked hard quarrying their own sandstone, making their own brick, cutting timber for the buildings that are still lived in and worked in today. This indelible mark of hard work and quality craftsmanship has been passed down through the generations. It can still be seen today in the products made by the furniture and clock factories, woolen mill and shops of the Amana Colonies.
